The man known simply as Egg is a hard-boiled professional sniper who works for the Eastern Bloc. In the 009-1 anime he appears in Episode 3, in which he faces 009-1 in a duel of assassins on a remote island.
Although highly skilled, Egg has an extremely rigid daily schedule and he never works at night. He does not kill those who are not his targets (even sparing the life of a wounded Western Bloc agent who tried to kill him) and always shoots his target to the head with a single bullet from his old sniper rifle. He is very proud of his cool professionalism as a hitman and considers killing out of emotion beneath him.
