Golden Bat is the name of a secretive spy group that sells information for both the Western and Eastern Bloc. Members of the group appear in Episodes 4 and 5 of the 009-1 anime.
While Phantom claims to be a member of Golden Bat, the identities of its other members are never revealed in the anime and their ultimate goal remains a mystery.
